About Five Star Driving School

Five Star is an Independent Driving School based in Brighton with a reputation for friendly and professional tuition. It was set up nearly 30 years ago by one of Brighton's first Female Driving Instructors.

It is now run by Carole Shelton, a fully qualified, DSA Approved, Female Driving Instructor (ADI).

Carole trained with the British School of Motoring (BSM) over ten years ago.

Since then Carole has developed a depth of teaching experience which she uses to teach people of all abilities, the skills necessary to pass their driving test and go on to become safe drivers.

Carole is patient and friendly and understands what a gratifying and sometimes overwhelming experience learning to drive can be. 

Her aim is to give the best driving tuition possible by tailoring driving lessons to suit each individual’s specific needs.

Carole's pass rate consistently exceeds the national average.
