Pass Plus

The Pass Plus Board consists of the Driving Standards Agency, Driving Instructors and Insurers working together to encourage newly qualified young drivers to be safer and better drivers.

The structured syllabus gives the extra experience needed at a time when newly qualified drivers are most likely to have an accident. Ideally this course should be taken within the first year of passing your test.

The amount saved on insurance could cover the cost of the training!

In addition, as part of their Increasing Skills for a Safe Summer initiative, Sussex Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) is encouraging young drivers to increase their skills behind the wheel through the Pass Plus scheme. Drivers who participate will get £60 cash back towards the cost.

Pass Plus will take you through driving:

There is no test to take and when you have successfully completed the course, the Driving Standards Agency will send you a certificate which you'll need to claim your insurance discount.

Check out www.passplus.org.uk or call the Pass Plus hotline on 0115 936 6504 for further information about participating insurance companies.
